What is a cyborg? Are you one? Do the sensors in the smartphones we carry make us cyborgs? Or do these need to be directly connected to our body – implanted? Or does being a cyborg start earlier, when we depend on technology to take part in everyday life?
We, the Berlin-based organization Cyborgs e.V., are looking for answers. We’re organizing a barcamp and invite interested cyborgs and non-cyborgs of any profession to discuss and hack with us.
How do apps and gadgets change our behavior? What is life with implants like? How can you hack a prothesis and what software do you need to do it? What can we build? We invite hackers, researchers, developers and everyone interested.

What’s a barcamp?
Barcamps are democratic conferences. Every participant is invited to provide a talk. In the first hour all participants will vote on the order of the talks. After that, the talks will be scheduled to start every full hour. If you plan to deliver a lecture, please send us an abstract via e-mail. Talks and workshops can be about hacking projects, transhumanism, philosophy, cyborgism, prosthetics, genetics etc. – the sky is the limit.
Press
You are journalist and want to visit our conference? Please send us an e-mail.
After party?
